Plain-language privacy.

We don't ask you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information. When you scout a city, the only data sent to our server is:

• The city name you searched.
• The interests you selected (e.g. Work, Sports).
• Any refinement chips you activated (e.g. Gyms with day passes).

We don't collect your IP address for tracking purposes, and we don't use cookies for advertising or analytics.

When you search, your city and interests are sent to Claude (Anthropic's AI), which performs live web searches and returns real venue recommendations. We don't store your search query linked to any identity — only the resulting recommendations are cached (see below).

To keep the app fast and reduce repeated AI calls, results are cached by city and interest combination using Upstash Redis. Non-empty results are cached for up to 30 days; empty results for 1 hour. The cache stores venue names, types, prices, and links — no user data.

We use trusted third-party services to generate AI recommendations, cache results for speed, and host the application. These providers process data only to deliver the service — we don't sell or share personal data with them for any other purpose.

We don't sell, share, or monetise any data from your searches. Full stop.
